If I am going to be out camping, I make sure that I have the right kind of gear that I need to stay comfortable while I am out there. One of the most important things to have at night when I am camping is something that I can use to provide all of the light that I need for the trip. Without something providing light, I have to sit around in the dark, which is not very pleasant.

In the past, I have relied on many different types of battery operated flashlights and lanterns. Since these have failed me sometimes by running out of battery power or having a bulb burn out, I now make sure to bring a backup light with me all of the time. I have a wonderful hand crank lantern which I know is one that is perfect for me to use on a regular basis.

With the right kind of a lantern to use on a regular basis, I am able to really have the kind of light that I need when I need it. It is wonderful to be able to have some backups just so that I don’t end up stranded in the dark when something happens that makes it so that some light ends up going out.
